Meet Alexander

Fun afternoon session with Alexander and his family in Queen Anne. He is quite the talker and a bilingual one at that. We ventured out to a nearby park where he showed off his mad skills on a swing, soaring high into the air all by himself. He also pointed out all the passing buses (appears he loves riding the bus up the block….sounds like the beginning of a adventurous traveler….love it).

Here’s a sneak peak of my morning spent with the Lewison family and sweet babe Clyde who is 6 months old already….he had a case of the baby giggles when I arrived that would surely melt anyone’s heart. Older siblings Charlotte and Henry were in tow and huddled on the bed together to check out my Bubbles application on my iPad. We also discussed some serious topics like what should and should not go on a pizza ……apparently candy bars are out! The morning was finished outdoors as spring has finally arrived in Seattle.

Meet the newest addition to the Fortney family. We braved the first snow flurry of the year outside, played around on the bed, made stuffed animal camouflages, and I was able catch up with mom who I hadn’t seen in years. Of course the important updates always come from the youngest family members who fill me in on all the essential details…. like who has a hairy nose (but that’s confidential)…

Last week I visited my favorite family of four girls. Camille much to my humor showed off her newly captured “pet fly” while Lauren had much bigger aspirations of getting a pet horse (I told her I’d try and put a good word in). We braved a foggy morning outside and some jumping around on the bed before the sun finally came out.

Last week I took a trip down to SODO to spend the morning with the Anderson Family. We didn’t see Fred the friendly troll…much to the relief of Deuce…but we did find lots of nooks and crannies to explore. The kids showed off their mad climbing skills and I must say I was pretty impressed with their confidence. Thanks to Dad who was volunteered to catch a few jumping kids off the high walls.

Here’s a peak of my morning spent with the Castro family. Nicholas was a happy little man and I must say a bit of a flirt too. I just love seeing these little guys grow. We headed down to Lake Washington with Diesel the wonderdog in tow, who did his best to resist going into the water.

Congrats to this beautiful momma who now has a new man in her life as of Saturday. Can’t wait to meet him! Despite rain and pending delivery dates we were able to show off her sweet bump just in time. Big brother Leandro in typical boy fashion wasted no time getting dirty and splashing in the water. Thanks to mom and dad for being such good sports.

Just love seeing how big these kiddos are getting. Check out their photo from over a year ago. Mom and Dad Smith returned from overseas and the whole family was back together. Thanks to Grandpa Bryant for helping me with my crazy antics to get everyone to focus on the camera for just a second. Being silly and jumping around is hard work. Miss Molly made an appearance, no silliness or jumping needed…just a little cheese in hand.

I had a fun morning hanging out with the Rowell Family. There was lots to do….we bounced around in a big red rolling ball, climbed up into a tree house, got our feet wet in Lake Washington and then finished the morning with a nap.

It was the perfect kite flying day during the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. We headed up to brave the crowds and take in all the color while the spring tulips were still in bloom. As always there was no lack of sisterly love huddling together, sharing rides and running through the fields.

Today was a special day….I spent a few hours with the Roodman Family before Estella celebrated her 3rd birthday bash. She was the perfect little lady….offered to share her Halloween candy when I arrived, gave kisses to her little bro, put my Mr Chicken squeaky toy down for a nap…Mr Chicken accompanies me on all my shoots, so surely he was do for a nap, making noise and keeping the kids entertained must be very tiring!)….. she even helped me get my jacket when it was time to leave. But the best part of the day was telling her mom “that was fun”…too cute! Happy birthday Estella!
