Meet Alexander

Fun afternoon session with Alexander and his family in Queen Anne. He is quite the talker and a bilingual one at that. We ventured out to a nearby park where he showed off his mad skills on a swing, soaring high into the air all by himself. He also pointed out all the passing buses (appears he loves riding the bus up the block….sounds like the beginning of a adventurous traveler….love it).

Marymoor Park is one giant playground….complete with knights and castles, space chickens, a princess planet and any other amazing things when you let your imagination take over. Of course, we took a few photos in between visiting all those fun places.

I get to hang out with some amazing families, and this one just oozes love for one another. We had a fun morning reading books, exploring grandpa & grandma’s garden, picking flowers, and perhaps Evynne’s favorite playing with stickers (thanks to mom and dad who graciously served as a sticker board). Can’t wait to meet Evynne’s new baby brother in just a few weeks.

Here’s a sneak peak of my morning spent with the Lewison family and sweet babe Clyde who is 6 months old already….he had a case of the baby giggles when I arrived that would surely melt anyone’s heart. Older siblings Charlotte and Henry were in tow and huddled on the bed together to check out my Bubbles application on my iPad. We also discussed some serious topics like what should and should not go on a pizza ……apparently candy bars are out! The morning was finished outdoors as spring has finally arrived in Seattle.

I love getting to see families grow as they welcome in little ones. It seems like just yesterday I was taking newborn images of Lucy and now here she is as a big sister to sweet babe Lily. We had fun making duck soup with Lucy’s fun pink retro kitchenette (sorry Mr Rubber Ducky), playing with stickers and had a few rounds of jumping on the bed, and I of course got to adore and coo over the newest member of the family.

I can’t tell you how excited I was to spend the morning with the Kinghorn family and their latest additions…..itty bitty newborn twin boys. These little guys were pretty much two moldable bundles of baby love…..swoon! Big brother Noah handed out a few kisses and hugs and we had fun reading a little Schitnizel Von Krumm…the sausage dog.

All I can say is……..super-baby-licious!

We braved the first snow flurry of the year outside, played around on the bed, made stuffed animal camouflages, and I was able catch up with mom who I hadn’t seen in years. Of course the important updates always come from the youngest family members who fill me in on all the essential details…. like who has a hairy nose (but that’s confidential)…

After spending the the morning with the De Jong Family, I discovered what every family of three boys needs….a personal wooded playground complete with tree house and zip line! The boys showed off their mad skills traversing down from the the tree house, stomping in the mud, balancing on logs….and well just being boys.

Last week I visited my favorite family of four girls. Camille much to my humor showed off her newly captured “pet fly” while Lauren had much bigger aspirations of getting a pet horse (I told her I’d try and put a good word in). We braved a foggy morning outside and some jumping around on the bed before the sun finally came out.

Last week I took a trip down to SODO to spend the morning with the Anderson Family. We didn’t see Fred the friendly troll…much to the relief of Deuce…but we did find lots of nooks and crannies to explore. The kids showed off their mad climbing skills and I must say I was pretty impressed with their confidence. Thanks to Dad who was volunteered to catch a few jumping kids off the high walls.

Here’s a peak of my morning spent with the Castro family. Nicholas was a happy little man and I must say a bit of a flirt too. I just love seeing these little guys grow. We headed down to Lake Washington with Diesel the wonderdog in tow, who did his best to resist going into the water.
